Jim and Rosemary
This refreshing cocktail takes a new look at mixing bourbons with sweeter ingredients. Fresh herbs top it off to give a more complex flavor.
1 1/2 oz. of Jim Beam Black
Wedge of fresh orange
4 sugar cubes
2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
1/2 oz. simple syrup
1/2 oz. soda water
ice
In a rocks glass add a whole sprig of rosemary and the soda water with the sugar cubes. Muddle until the rosemary is completely crushed. In the bottom half of a martini shaker add ice, Jim Beam and simple syrup. Using the rocks glass with the muddled fruit as top for the martini shaker, shake vigorously. Pour entire contents into a high ball and garnish with the other rosemary sprig.
